Since we last spoke we've spent all of our efforts in two categories-
Dialing in throttle by wire load calculations, and re-coding the VSS file format, since the Vanagon does not have a vehicle speed sensor attached to any of the wheels.
As you can see by the updated photos, our "plug and play" wiring harnesses are in their final form. Being able to freeze frame data has been extremely helpful in calculating the differences in weight between the Vanagon and a passenger car.
Although this is the most time consuming, slowly moving portion of the project, it is the most gratifying.
We are happy to report Beta customer calculations of 25 miles per gallon in their Westy's!! Can not wait for diesel results!!
