Advantages…

The Last of the Flat 4 Wasserboxers came off of the Production Line in the early ‘90’s.  The Newest Re-buildable cores are at least 20 years old.  Many components including Head Gasket Material are of a very Antiquated Design.  The Wasserboxer Fuel Injection Harnesses are as old now as the vehicle they came in; often Dry and Brittle and typically all eventually show signs of a shorted 02 Data Wire.  Several other Fuel Injection Design Issues have left many owners on the side of the road while traveling.  Wasserboxers are becoming more and more unreliable with each passing year with fewer shops willing to tackle and repair them.
